I got what I thought was 9 pullets and one roo mixed RIR and BA. As they started to age I see one pullet start to take a color pattern different than others and one "pullet" start to look very different than the other girls possibly a cockerel?(sp). First pic is the odd color pattern and breed is what im trying to figure....then next series of pics will be the questionable pullet.

the odd colored one on right center / white specs

another angle

here you can see her in the mix.

Now my problem child. Is this a pullet or a Cockerel?

this one looked like the gals until heavy growth...large kegs etc.

hmm, not sure on the breed of that one...can you get a better pic of just that chicken? I am guessing roo on the questionable one...how old are they?

Hi again!

What beautiful birds! The chicken with the white speckling looks like a pullet to me. Were all these chickens that you got mixed, or just the roo? As for the problem child, I believe it's a cockrel.

They are all suposed to be about 24-25 weeks....the white one looked alot like the others when I got them with a couple specks of white at first....she is a pullet im sure but the white tells me she has another mix in the situation. All were mixed and suposed to be RIR/BA.....when I seen the specks I didnt really care as we like them all....even the possible Cockrel. I just want to have happy girls and not to many roos to run the girls over. This is my dominant roo and the speckeled chick im curious about.

you can see the dom roo mid right and the problem child front center and the specked is in middle...sorry I cant get better pics rt now.

specked...this one is so sweet BTW.

this is a family shot...lol...I forgot to mention I have an americauna too. sheesh all I wanted was an egg one day. :)

The speckled one is a pullet. The other you are wondering about looks to be a cockerel.

I was going to say silver laced wyandotte, but after re-looking at the pics, not sure...can you get a real good close up? Here is one of the ones I have at 10 weeks.

I will try to get a good pic tomorrow. They act like someone beat them with a camera

Here are some pics of her from today. sorry for the blur and bad pics but its my phone camera and best I can do.

Thanks for all the feedback, I figured out thr cockerel problem just don't know what the pullet breed is. She is very much different than the others as far as actions go......she is accepted well but always doing her own thing.
