I have a hen that has been sitting on dummy eggs for about 5 days. She’s pretty committed to it. I have to force her to leave the nest for food and water and she’s not happy about it. What are the odds of things going okay if I swap her dummy eggs for ones that are supposed to hatch on the 12th (about to go into lock down). Has she been sitting long enough? Thoughts? This is my first time letting a broody hatch.
