My ds and I are going crazy trying to figure out how to make a pen that is raccoon safe. We put a chicken wire one up and a coon was in it the next night!!! Thank God the ducks were in the house! I found a 10' x10' dog run on craigslist(just have to borrow a truck), I have chicken wire and also 50' of rabbit fencing. Would this work? Do we dig it in or place pavers along it? How about electric fence? I can't find nothing on exactly how to do this. We have 4 ducks one is only 3 weeks old. We have a hardware cloth cage that we will lock them in at night.
