Help with air cells and turning

I have some eggs with detached air cells, so I placed them upright in an egg carton and I’ve been hand turning them 5 times a day. However, now the eggs appear to be developing saddle shaped air cells as well. Am I doing something wrong? How do I fix them?

Have the dips the opposite way you are turning so you can sort of change the AC direction.

I’ve been turning them perpendicular to the longest ends of the air cell, but it doesn’t seem to be helping

What day are you on? Sometimes they take awhile and sometimes they don’t change at all.

I’m on day 12, I think the saddle shapes developer day 10ish, after I put them upright
