Hi guys,
I have 4 araucana chicks, about 8-9 weeks old and I'm trying to work out who's male and who's female. The most obvious ones are chook 1 and chook 2.
Chook 1 has a flat comb, still quite pale - I'm guessing female.

Chook 2 has 3 defined rows on the comb - I'm guessing male.

Chook 3 has one defined row, and it's quite red.

Chook 4 has quite a flat comb, also quite red.

Any thoughts appreciated!

I agree, #2 is the only one I'm definitely thinking cockerel. #1 I'm voting pullet. #3 and 4 could still go either way, but right now nothing screams cockerel to me.

Update- someone is crowing!
I'm hoping it's not this one, it's my wee favourite. Tried to get some decent shots
