Help with baby ducks!

I have been reading and seen some people gave their ducks poly vi sol if they were sick. Should I do this for my baby?

What are you doing so far? just the brewers yeast? if that is all then you could try giving the Poly Vi Sol with out iron you only give 1 drop 2X a day never over dose these are baby vitamins.

Can you bend the leg in natural position above the foot that is. Is he able to walk at all? I would put him on the vitamins.

I had a similar issue with my week and a half pekin duckling. Separated and gave poly vi sol and he was up and walking a day and a half later. Good luck!!

I am able to move the leg above the "knee" but not below it won't turn back into the other position. I have been Doug Brewers yeast and electrolytes and I got that poly stuff

Can the duckling walk? I think to keep from over dosing I'd do one of the other either the electrolytes/vitamins or the Poly but keep on using the Brewers yeast.


Is this both feet or just the one?

He is walking on his "knees" it's both feet but one is worse then the other. I think I'm going to try the liquid vitiamns I gave that to it last night and this morning his feathers are looking better!

On the lil shoes cut them in the shape of his feet [and if your using plastic wrap the plastic to keep it from cutting into his skin]. may make it easier once he begins to stand and walk. Glad to hear your already seeing improvement in his feathers. Hope we hear some good news on his legs and feet by this afternoon.
