Its hard to guess because they are young I know, but I was hoping someone could make a guess. The one on the left is much larger than the one on the right (even though he is squatting down) and also is getting red wattles. Does it look like maybe I got 1 boy and 1 girl or both boys?

    Possible boy?

Nobody wanted to take a guess, I guess lol.

But Ideal agreed that it was a boy and refunded me for the chick and the boxing charges. Now hopefully the second one is a girl.

I'm not sure its a male. When my BR Hen and Roo were young they had very noticable differences that yours don't have. Take a look:

    Hen: [IMG]

The feathers on the male are more grey than dark and the barring is so blured it really isn't barring anymore. Plus the tails are different.

Females do have very red combs and wattles. In this pic, they had just began to grow and redden:

And here she is as an adult:

Barred rock females tend to be a bit darker than the boys.

Hmmm, the wattles being there and red already on the larger Barred Rock at 4 weeks, made me think it was a boy. The other one doesn't have wattles at all yet.
