Help with Breed ID?

Any idea on breed for this chick? Black comb wattles and legs. Her legs are clean. Thank you!

I'm wondering if a Black Sumatra.

I can't see the whole side profile. If there is a pronounced tail, that would be my guess.

Not Sumatra...just caught single combed.

Did you get her from a breeder or high quality hatchery? She almost looks like a Ayam Cemanis, but those are pretty rare.

Some Silkie mixes can have the black skin too, without the silkie feathering...but we're back to wrong comb as Silkie's have cushion combs that would breed forward as pea (or possibly rose?).

A local farm here in SC. She gets them from a hatchery but I couldn’t tell you which one.

I have to guess Blue Marans. They're common for hatcheries to carry and pullets often have dark faces when young

But BLACK comb and wattles? I thought Marans first, but my Marans have always had red combs, including my Blue Marans.

I've also wondered if Midnight Majesty Marans...but again, that would have a red comb/wattles.

I do think so. I'm entirely sure of the politically correct term for this but she appears to have "gypsy face." Here's a picture from Feathersite of young Marans with this trait and here is a thread of a young Blue Marans exhibiting this trait!

I wonder if was a mix but was labeled as something else. I have 7 sapphire gems and their feathers are a good bit lighter than yours, but some have black skin and DARK red combs. Still red but very dark.
