What mix is he, or is he a breed I really can't tell? Thanks, Yes he is!
True true...maybe an Ameraucana mix that they allowed to breed or maybe like you said a EE, but I don't know what exactly that is or what it stands for.....so idk
That barred one could maybe be a cuckoo Marans rooster over an Ameraucana (or bearded EE) hen.
With the olive eggers, it doesn't matter which parent lays blue, or brown / chocolate, but one parent needs to contribute each color. So that can help piece it together based on coloring.
Possibly a red star or production red mixed with an Ameraucana or maybe Easter egger?I’m very curious about this cross as I had one similar who I have no clue about. She layed white eggs. And this is her son (the blue one).

Oh my goodness he actually looks pretty similar to my BYM cockerel, but mine has more gold instead of straw color. He’s also much smaller and has a bit more black showing. Mine is a mix of a black Silverudd’s blue (rooster) and a brown egg laying breed (hen). I’m not sure which one he came from, but the only hens which could’ve laid the egg he came from are RIR (unlikely), SLW, Barred Plymouth Rock, Buff Orpington (highly doubted), Sapphire Gem, or another breed which I can’t identify, but I’m not sure if she lays brown or blue eggs. While everyone is talking about their weird mixes of very handsome roos I had a quiz, what two breeds were crossed to make this beautiful man named Darcy. The winner gets to know a secret about him and truly know what breeds are mixed to create different results and really know about genes.
Here he is....Mr. Darcy
