Ok. Help. Lol. They are 7 weeks old. Some may be pure splash Cochins (I hatched 3 out of 10 eggs.) The others a project chicks (EE/Cochin mix but the breeder has been working on them for years to look like Cochins but lay green eggs ( I have 7 of these. 2 are frizzle so easy to tell). These aren't all the chicks, but some and my guess on what they are. What does everyone else think???

I need to figure out how to get a pic of each one without duplicating them. Lol

All are pullets except for second to last, and very likely the last. Post updated pics of the last chick in 2 weeks.

Thanks. I forgot about the rows of combs for EE cockerels.

Any ideas which ones are pure Cochin going by combs?

Looks like all of them except for the last. Cochins have single combs, heavily feathered feet, and yellow skin. If they have traits that differ from those, they are not pure.

Ok. I know all aren't. It is hard since these were bred as EE/Cochin crosses that look like Cochins but lay green eggs. The breeder has been working on them for 3 years. Out of 10 eggs I hatched 3 Cochin eggs and 7 project/green eggs. The 2 frizzles are project chicks I know. But the other 8 all look alike besides a couple that have the triple row comb. I will have to try to really exam their legs again now that they are older. Lol. At a few days old they all had yellow legs .

After 3 years, most of them may just be super hard to pick out if he's breeding them to look like Cochins. Might have to wait for eggs lol. If they're green - then you know.
