I'm going to get pics of them tomorrow. If it's the one I think it is she doesn't stay facing me long enough to get a good pic or look at comb, earlobes, etc. She does have fairly long legs and looks similar to an Ancona but does not have white earlobes which I've read is common in Anconas. No worries I'll have more detail tomorrow but thanks for responding....like I said I knew it was a long shot![]()
That's not alway true, There are a number of breeds that prove that statement incorrect.Having white ears equals white eggs, dark ears, dark eggs, except EE and a couple others I believe

The Lamona has Red earlobes and lays a White egg, Most Gamefowl breeds have Red earlobes and lay a off White egg.
There are a lot of breeds that have Black earlobes and lay a White/ off White egg.
