I have 3 hens and 2 roosters in a 14' x 12' pen with a 6' x 6' coop. the problem is that i have been trying to breed them for three years with no success. All of the eggs i but in the incubator are clear when i candle them and they wont sit. I know that i will probably have to let them out if i want them to breed but i have a dog problem and they wouldnt last long. any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

There is something else going on. I don't think its strictly being confined. What are you feeding them?

racuda I am 100% sure on their gender, 2 males and 3 females. As for the feed they get an even mix of kalmback grower and layer with some scratch thrown out every day. They get the same feed as my pheasants which im having over 80% hatch rates with.

It sounds like they don't want to breed in captivity. I'll give you a dozen eggs if you want, for 10 dollars shipping.

Mine breed fine in pens so I don't know if thats the problem. What day are you candeling the eggs? Guinea eggs don't show much progress untill about day 10.
