We have a 6-7 month old girl named Raven that my wife and I got in trade for a rooster we had to get rid of. We got her about 4 months ago from a local feed store, she was sick and my wife felt the urge to nurse her back to health. Im realy glad she did, because Raven has a great personality. Well we are trying to figure out what she is. For all I know she is a "mutt" chicken, but I am curious. She has a black color to her from a distance, but when you look closely she has an iridesnce that makes the feathers go purple, green or blue in the light. Here are a few crude cell phne pics, thanks for any help. Also feel free to ask any questions as necessary.

at a glance, i'd guess black australorp. but it's hard to say.

what color are her legs? what about the underside of her feet? does she have any white or brown coloring leaking through the black around her chest?
