If they have feathering in their feet then they have either brahma, marans, or Cochin in them.

Thanks everyone, I have eggs down from him and bsl's I expect decent layers could I expect some to look like RhodeBars? Have purebreeds chicks for my future breeding lol
Depends on the parents. Even if you set olive or green eggs, if either hen or roo carries only one blue egg gene, that will skew your next generation. My EE roo carries a brown egg gene, as do some of my hens, so I get about 50% blue/green/aqua layers from using him over my flock. Also I have some chicken s that are like rsl at first glance but have a few feathers on their feet and slightly smaller than the sex links . I believe they are rsl X EE as they have olive or green eggs I'm also incubating. Should I expect them to lay brown eggs as they will be I suppose 3/4 red sex link?
I doubt Brahma unless bantam I suppose. They are smaller than the rsl and I suppose I'll post pictures of there eggs real quick next to my rsl'sIf they have feathering in their feet then they have either brahma, marans, or Cochin in them.
Yes, I agree, I got a better glance at the picture, doesn't look like full sex link. He is beautiful though! He looks like he has maybe half brahma in him.If they have feathering in their feet then they have either brahma, marans, or Cochin in them.
