Thanks! The two brown ones look exactly the same today. In those pictures #4 was still a bit wet from hatching! That makes me excited that at least two are girls. We are hoping that one of the others is a roo as we lost ours a few weeks ago. Maybe this little pure BO chick will turn out to be a roo for us! Our last roo was a BO and we loved him. I will definitely keep you updated with pictures.
We only have one EE and she lays a blue/green egg. The speckled egg was a mystery as to who was laying. We have three BA and two BR that like to lay in the same little nest on the floor but we could never catch who was laying speckled eggs and who was laying the cream colored! We weren't too worried about breeds but hoped to use the breeds of the chicks to determine the breed laying the speckled egg (if that makes sense)! Love the pics of your chicks and girls! If mine grow up to look like those they will be gorgeous!!
