I set about 60 quail eggs...when they hatch do I wait till they're feathers dry out before going to brooder? Will all 60 fit in this thing lol? Help

I'm worried that all these chicks won't fit when they hatch? Will they be able to dry?

I have a 20 advance. It will hold 24 hen eggs and I have hatched as many as 22 in it without taking them out. If the eggs fit, the chicks will fit, but if the hatching action slows down and it's getting crowded, you can take them out. I like to leave them until the hatch is done, but if most are fluffy and you are waiting for a few more, it won't hurt to pull them out

I too agree with scflock on that your quail eggs will fit in the advance. I have the advance and got 27 eggs in for incubation and then 25 for lockdown so your quail will easily fit. I too usually wait untill hatch is done or the incubator is looking full before removing any to the brooder. They will be able to dry fine, they soon start fluffing up. The Brinsea quickly gets back up to temp and keeps the humidity well.

Good luck with your hatch, quail are super cute when they hatch.
