help with broken ankle/just above foot

I have an 8-9 week old lavender orpington who I just found limping. Yesterday my Nigerian goats got into the grow out pen in the night and cleaned out the chick feed.... I was happy to see hey didnt step on any chicks, but I guess I just missed this one. There is no other way she could've been injured.
So, its just above the foot about 3/4 of an inch. It is swollen, and broken so that it turns in a bit.She was bearing weight on it, but hopping.
Hoping for helpful informed suggestions on how to splint it.

You could try splinting the foot and leg with padding, something stiff, and vet wrap or strips of tape. Those bendable aluminum padded finger splints would be easy to use, if you could find one locally, and wrap it with tape. Here is a link that shows that:
