Help with Bullying!

Wondering.....
How many birds(ages and genders)?
How big is coop and run, in feet by feet?
It's nigh onto spring, hormones are flowing.

Good to have the ability to separate birds within sight of flock,
using adjacent pens or wire crates right in coop.

I have 12 hens and I have never seen any agression amongst any of them. They all get along well and all know their place in the flock.
If I had one bleeding I would separate her also.

We have just observed our Rhode Island Red beating up on our Buffs, they have always gotten along, but now she is getting aggressive. She is coming out of a molt and is also the one who is laying soft eggs. Hope she soon goes back to her calm self!

Our chicken coop and run
Run goes out to larger enclosure in the yard which is movable, we wanted them free range but too many predtors
around!

Hello aart ...I have 6 birds. All girls. The coop is 4x8 (not counting nest boxes, built off the side). We have been lucky and the weather is nice, so I have been able to separate them during the day, putting the bullies in the dog pen turned baby chick yard, now bully pen that has a smaller coop in it, this is attached to the run so they can see each other (as you suggested), just not touch each other. And I have left the only other girl that has no interest in picking on her in the coop/run with her. When I let them out this morning (to free range) they went after her again. I am stressed out as I don't know what to do. On top of it, I had planned on adding 3 more girls this spring Any more suggestions would be great! TY

Sounds like enough coop space, wouldn't add more birds tho.
How old are these birds?
You free range and/or have a run?
Only thing I can think is to let one of the bullies out at a time and see what happens, then maybe another. Observe who is naughty and who is nice and keep the naughties in jail until they learn to behave. Might have to mix and match who is where with whom. Shaking up the territoriality thing might break the bully habit.
Probably not a quick fix kinda of a thing.

And they have a run that is 16x20, but I free range whenever possible.
