Help with chick breed

Hello, I got this little one from the Buff Orpington pullet bin but am starting to think it’s something completely different due to the light barring on the feathers. Any chance this could still be an Orpington? I’m suspicious of a Delaware or New Hampshire. A little bummed because I was really looking forward to having a BO

Haha that’s for sure!! I’m crossing my fingers for a cute fluffy-butt BO mix. Just have read mixed reviews about the Delaware’s temperament so going to try to handle her as much as I can.

Here’s an update on mystery chick! Definitely not a Delaware with those red/buff feathers coming in! Still not sure what she is but she sure is cute!

Update on mystery chick: almost 5 weeks old today and I guess she is a “buff orpington” after all! But definitely some kind of mix Thank you all for your help!

She's changed a lot.
