Hello all! I am new to the forum and this is my first post. I have been raising chickens for 30 years, and never needed help with chickens until now!. I have 10 RI Reds & 15 Barred Rock chicks that are 7 weeks old (ordered from McMurray) and a surprise chick (pretty sure a rooster because he is trying to crow already, and not doing a very good job, yet). Could anyone tell me what breed of chicken this is? Thanks in advance.

I believe it is a Silver Campine.

Looks too low to the ground and short legged to fit Fayoumis. The tail is also horizontal rather than more vertical.

Though similar in plummage to Campines, Fayoumis are very modern game looking with long legs and very high tail carriage.

McMurray does not have silver campines, only golden.

Thank you for the help! I do believe they are Egyptian Fayoumis also. He is definitely going to rule the roost! Thanks again! Gail
