my chick's butt is bald and appears to be slightly swollen with a big bump around what may be the vent?? it is not bloody so i am not sure about a prolapse. chick acting normal.

That looks like the "belly button" or where the umbilical cord was. Leave it be, just watch the area for any signs of infection, bloody, oozing, pus, odors, etc.

If she is acting normal - eating, drinking that's good.
