help with chicks eyes

I have a silkie chick that kept running into everything. I picked him up and seen boh eyes stuck shut. I cleaned up one and worked it open. The other eye won't come open and looks infected. Any ideas?

It's infected by the looks of things. You need to use warm slightly salted water to open the eye gently without ripping the skin. Once open and clean you need to put in some eye ointment and keep repeating until healed.
