Okay, so I have this Cochin...when I got her and her rooster, I was told that he was a Mille Fleur, and I know he is, and that she was a Mille Fleur Spangled. Looked up that colour and found NOTHING!
I think she is a variant of Mille Fleur, but does it have a name? Here's a pic of the pair. They have had several chicks and most are coloured like her. There have only been two coloured like the roo :-D
And help is appreciated :)
Also is a pic of mille roo, a rooster coloured like the hen in question, and a younger roo who seems to be just tan and white. He is the mille roo and hen in questions chick as well...and clue what his colours called?
They are supposed to be pure mille fleur from excelent very small lines. They are SUPER tiny, and all perfect in build, shape, all that good stuff. Only thing I'm questioning is the colour?

Looks like just a poorly colored mille fleur. Not enough white at all. The rooster, however, has too much white. Breed them together for some lovely babies!

The pics of the roo are a few months ago. He has lost a lot of white since then, he's still very young and colouring out

He's the four babies from them...The little rooster is coloured great and getting better with age. The three hens are just starting to get in some white. Fingers crossed they turn out good.... All of them have perfect form and stance, great feathering on their bodies and down their legs, perfect combs, great skin colour, the whole deal. The only thing is the lack of significant white on the hens. They had three brothers that I have sold. They also had white, but not white as much as Reid. Why are only the roosters getting the white?Hen #1, Celeste. Showing a little white on her chest

Rooster. Reid. Showing good amount of white and just starting to get his black in.

Hen #2. Courtney. Showing the least white, but is getting some in. Very fine barring.

Hen #2. Chasta. Showing the most white, all throughout her feathers but not very noticeably yet.
