HELP with computer.

This is the only place I really hang out all the time so I thought mabe one of you could help me.
I just came in for lunch and when I went to get on the site I noticed all my tool bars tabs and start tabs are gone, just disappeared, I was only able to get on BYC because I happen to have the old explorer tab sill up on my screens, can someone tell me how to get the tool bars back cause my start tab is gone and I can not access my computer to find out what is wrong.

PS I can't even download my photos nor post them and I sure can't post them from exploer cause it is missing drivers

Frustrated

Something similar happened to my laptop recently, and in order to get things back I have to reboot every couple of hours. I am very computer illiterate so the laptop is in the shop now and I am using my desktop.

Ok i figured it out and and have my tabs back, i clicked on the window tab on my key board and it brought up all kinds of stuff and i was able to change the location of my tool bar which brought it back up.

Yep
ain't never lost a puter to a virus in the 9 years i have been using them

Sounds like you accidently hit the F11 key... pressing that key makes whatever you are working in/have open at the time go into fullscreen mode, and it hides the taskbar... if it happens again you can either press F11 again to exit fullscreen mode or do what you did and press the Windows key to see your taskbar to get where ya need to go.

Naw there is still dust on that key so i did not touch it

For me it is cntrl then F11. I love using that to get the full experience of a website with pretty photos.

I think I had the same thing or something similar happen to me once too Zaz. I freaked out soo much and finally I was able to figure it out doing some google searches of how to fix it. I have also had my computer plugged into the TV to see stuff on the big screen and when I un-plugged it, my computer screen was split and moving the mouse far to the right would bring it back to the far left side...It was soo weird! I had to shut down and re-start to fix that problem.

Yep that kinda stuff freaks me out also Minx , the computer is my only link to the ouside world for the most part and i am just fine with that, but BYC is my hang out so i miss it if i can't come visit
