Help with DE

it is looking like I will have to order some but I think Im going to use what I got around the coop and on the animals. Ill ask the health food store here if they have any food grade and buy a little if they do to feed them for worming. I dont know if they have worms but are elderly dog hasnt been feeling well so I guess it wont hurt. Thanks for everyones inputs. I have read alot of DE post on here but still dont have a real answer about this safebrand But the lady did say its safe all natural.

I looked up "saferbrand" for another member and it has insecticide in it. PermaGuard has their own site and you can order it directly from them. I sell PermaGuard in smaller amounts and am lower than their direct prices. PermaGuard has the "purest" food grade on the market. They had the original patent on food grade before the patent expired and the crystalline silica content (bad stuff)in PermaGuard is less than one half of one percent, the lowest!

I'm just wondering how much I should sprinkle in a 6x8' coop? And how often?

I bought this from the local hardware store a month ago and just today used it in the coop and on my new hen who has mites. We'll see if it works.

I use Stall Dry (which contains DE)on the floor of my coop. It keeps the smell down, absorbs moisture from their droppings and helps control any insect problems. I found it at the local feed and farm store.
