Help with DOGS

I am not a professional dog trainer or anything but I had the same problem with my black mouth cur puppies. I caught them while they were catching the chickens I stopped them and corrected them, they killed a few chickens that day but now I have an awesome dog that knows what to catch and what not to catch. you need to catch them while they are they are doing it and correct them. But that is just my opinion.

also, I rescued a puppy a few months ago and the day we got her, when we introduced her to the chickens, I held her and let her smell one of the chickens and corrected her if she showed any aggressive behavior towards the chicken. Now she almost acts like they are not really there anymore.
