Help with duckling! Day 30

Hey all, I know it’s probably been posted on here 100 times I just can’t find a thread.

it’s day 30 been almost 24 hours , humidity 70, temp 99.5

My duckling has just its beak up through the egg but won’t go back in and zip the rest out , when would you assist the hatch? I know ducks take a while but just worried about the little duckling

How long ago did it pip? Do you still see it moving and peeping? If it’s beak has been sticking (not just an external pip, but actually see it’s beak sticking through the hole) out for 24 hours, I’d probably chip away a tiny bit of shell around its beak and wet the membrane with Vaseline or coconut oil to check for blood vessels. Don’t make the hole very big and don’t break the membrane
