Help with Easter Eggers

So we have 7 Easter Eggers that are 6 weeks old along with cinnamon queens, white rocks, Austra whits, Isa Browns, light brahamas, white leghorns and sapphire gems. Tonight when feeding and watching them we were picking up some of them and noticed that a few of the Easter Eggers had featherless areas. None of the other breeds look like that just them. Is this typical for the bread. Are they just loosing there baby feathers? One also had like oozing around it which worries me. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Looks like you have some feather picking going on. Generally it's because they need more room.

They have a 12 by 25 foot pen. They seem to have plenty of room. there are two roosting posts and a swing in there for them. Are they normally a weaker bread cause it’s only them

They are actually in our barn inside Horse stalls we converted so they have wood chips in there right now

It has wood planks covered in wood chips

My Olive Egger has this happen. When feathers were coming in it seemed like they “broke skin” or were bleeding a bit. Which caused interest with the other chicks and my Olive Egger (usually from
Boredom). We fixed it with a few things. Blue Kote, on the area, the blue usually isn’t attractive like the red. And it must taste gross. It’s A germacide an antibacterial as well. Also, we added some boredom busters. we got a baby cake, added some more “roosting areas” a little mirror helps as well. She and the others stopped

What kind of wood chips? Like what kind of tree is it from?

They are at an age when getting outside and scratching about will help with boredom. If you can't get them outside bringing in some clumps of sod can help entertain them until you can get them out in a run.
