Help with gender

I'm aware that this is a barred rock, but I'm a little worried she might be a he. It's about 4 weeks old now and a bit lighter than the other one it's age.

I would lean towards roo as well.

That is definitely a Cockerel. (A cockerel is a young Rooster.)

I'm confused why folks think this is a cockerel. Black wash on legs and they are not thick male legs. Those to things lead to pullet in my mind.

It will be obvious in a few more weeks and would not count it out yet.

I'll confess that I could not enlarge the picture and was going off what the white was telling me. The white looks stronger in the small picture. By enlarging it it does look more pullet.

I agree, this bird looks pretty girly to me.
