Help with hatching ducklings!

I posted a picture of what he looks like, I think it's on the first page of this thread. I know he is still absorbing the blood and stuff from the membrane and he does have a good breathing hole. I'm more worried that he won't be able to get out of membrane and will end up dying somehow. I feel like an expectant parent waiting to hear how the delivery went!

My duckling was shrink wrapped and I helped him out and here he is! My question is that I candled the other two duck eggs and one has pipped internally, but how will I know if that one is shrink wrapped too? Please help, I don't want a lonely duckling!

What is the yellow area under the duckling's foot? Is that still yolk sac? All I would do with the others is open up the shell in the air cell area only and peel away the outer membrane and look and see what is going on.

The yellow is part of the membrane, it's folded back and you see the underside of the eggshell. When I noticed the other egg had pipped internally I put it back in incubator and I added water to basins to top them off and soaked a paper towel and put it in there hoping to raise the humidity. I am unsure if that one is shrink wrapped but I also don't want to open the incubator and lose precious moisture for them. Any suggestions?

Either leave it alone and let what happens happen, or else carefully remove some of the shell from the air cell area and pull away the outer membrane, then you will see what is going on, then wrap the egg in a damp paper towel and put back in the incubator. For my next hatch I will have a spray bottle so I can spritz remaining eggs with water if I have to open the incubator for some reason, I have read of people having good luck with this method as far as avoiding shrink wrap. I can't remember if you mentioned earlier are these eggs long overdue? If they are not I wouldn't be messing with them much until they are at least a day overdue.

I'm going to see what happens. Today is day 27, and I have call ducks which i believe can hatch as early as 26 days. The one that hatched this morning had externally pipped the night before last, on day 25.

How is the first hatchling doing? Is he up and about? Honestly I wouldn't intervene anymore at this point, leave them all in the incubator and leave it closed. I didn't realize the incubation period was 26 to 27 days for the ducks, I likely wouldn't have intervened with the first one either, I wouldn't have risked opening the incubator and releasing the humidity. It shouldn't have shrink wrapped if you had a good amount of humidity in there especially after it had pipped, then its own moisture will contribute to the humidity usually making it surge even higher. Hopefully your hatchling is doing good and your others make it out on their own. I would give them at least a day now before assisting at all. If for some reason you can't help yourself and open the lid again I would partially wrap a warm wet paper towel around the remaining eggs to ensure they don't dry out and dab some Neosporin around any pip openings this will help the membranes stay moist.

HELP! I have a single duckling egg hatching in my incubator. It has been pipping since 1am. Today is 26 days, it is a rouen/pekin mix. It has about a 1 in-1.5 in hole already. Egg is on its side but I can see yolk underneath duckling. Is thos normal? What do I do?
