I had guinea eggs under a broody hen. I went out tonight to sort out the eggs because she likes to steal other eggs and hide them with the guinea eggs. I found a guinea keet hatched and so I left her alone. When I went back out to check, again, there was a keet in the middle of the run almost dead. I went to try and sneak it back but she got up, revealing another hatched keet. No egg shells and the other three eggs have holes and beaks moving. She refused to get back on and climbed into the other box with the other broody hen. I tried to see if she'd go back but the keets were in danger of being pecked and trampled. So I grabbed them and stuck them under a heat plate with a bowl of water for humidity. I doubt the first two will make it but what should I do for the eggs hatching? Should I intervene? I don't know if the membrane dried out. And if they do hatch, what do they need. They are not drying and fluffing.
