help with hatching

I need some expert advise. I have bantam cochin eggs hatching...I've noticed one is pipping at the wrong end....Does this spell doom for the chick? Should I help it out? I've seen somewhere they can't hatch from the opposite end. Think I had one in the past. It pipped and didn't come out? Any help with this would be appreciated.

There is a chance it can still hatch.

I thinks the odds are way down when compared to a normal hatch though.

I personally would not help until at least 24 hours has passed from first pip.
