Hi,

Well we are near the end and are on day 19 and I have been reading and reading in the archives and everything I keep reading says to not open the incubator for the last three days but I have also read adding a wet sponge can help boost your humidity so how to I keep a sponge wet without opening is it ok to open very quickly to get the sponge wet? The incubator we have has a bottle you can fill from the outside but it is not enough to keep the humidity up high enough for the last part of the hatch my current wet bulb reading is about 90 which puts me at about 70 for humidity and I know that by adding the sponge I will not be able to tell how much I increased the humidity atleast I am pretty sure that my wet bulb will still read the same. But I am hoping that it would be enough to make up the difference any advice would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance time to go back and keep staring at the eggs

If nothing has pipped yet yes you can quickly add a wet sponge or wet washcloth to get your humidity up...
