Help with identifying a Corturnix

Do you know anyone who has the true A&M?

I have a pen with some true A and M blood. The purpose was for the bird to be all white meat (which is isn't really, lighter meat though), originating from Jumbo Pharaoh/brown and breeding it to an English white to get a more desirable look.

quaillady thanks for chiming in, ive heard lots of good things about you on this forum. Question for you, how would you know if you had a "true" A&M when it was full grown?

It is very hard to know what you have unless the breeder tells you where they got the breeders/eggs and the past generation lines. I know I got some blood from true A and M because of research at school and I was given Stella (my first coturnix, still kicking) along with Texas A and Ms from "da lab." I am a purist but you have to bring in new blood to not have genetic defects over time. I still consider Texas A and Ms coturnix that weigh 12-14 ounces or more. But if I don't know the lines, they would be considered Jumbo Whites in my opinion.
