This is the 1st time I have chickens and I've been watching and searching online to learn if this is a hen or a rooster.
The flock is 4 months old. This chicken started to doodle a few times a day but started later in age than what online says so I was thinking maybe it's a hormone imbalance hen but I have no experience so I don't know. It doesn't have talons and the comb, waddle and tail feathers are smaller than what I've seen on other roosters.

I need help! I can't have a rooster in my backyard.

The smaller chicken is a hen for sure it's in the last Pic for reference.

Yup, that's a boy. Most cockerels are obvious by 8 weeks but there can be late bloomers especially in the larger breeds. Your boy has the long saddle feathers and the rooster tail is coming in as well.
