I'm having this same problem. I introduced 2 hybrids into a flock of 3 and they spend their day hiding in a nest box and the older hens take turns going in and attacking them.
Would be good to have an update on how yours are doing. I withdrew the 2 and put them in a run along side the other run so they can see each other, but I might try seperating the top hen and reintroducing the new ones to the other 2.

I started with a small flock of 3 (currently 12wks old), but 2 turned out to be boys so they are being rehomed - tonight actually. I picked up 2 new girls (6wks and 8wks) that have been living together. I let all the girls in the fenced garden area together, (it's a pretty large space with two food and water stations and plenty of shelter) and the big girl just ran around and picked on the other two. No blood, but lots of screaming and stress. They have been staying in separate areas aside from that afternoon. BUT, since the original girl is going to be losing her coop-mates tonight, I am worried that she will be lonely if I keep them separate. I have been reading other posts, and will just keep trying, but has anyone else had experience with such small numbers? I wonder if it will be easier or harder...... We shall see :)

Right not the younger girls are in the fenced garden and the big girl is in her coop. Any suggestions on helping the big girl be less territorial?
