Help with lg still air incubator

Yea I've been doing alot of reading about dry hatching and have been hearing nothing but good things and I think thats the way I'm going next time..so pretty much all you have to do is add no water until the last couple days for the hatch?

I have never heard of dry hatching. That sounds interesting. I too had 0% hatch with my LG still air incubator just last week. I had some guinea eggs in there & followed the directions that came with it (just bought the incubator for these eggs so have never done it before )- but I guess the temp of 99.5, which is what the instructions said, is not true. Now I am hearing that if you don't use the fan kit that is a separate purchase, that those instructions really don't apply. Pretty sad that they couldn't have put a 'by the way, if you DIDN'T buy the separate fan kit, don't follow THESE instructions' note somewhere on the papers!

What have you heard about dry hatching??
