We recently received our necropsy results: Marek’s & Mycoplasma Synovaie. Does anyone have any experience with how to keep your remaining flock alive & healthy?

We have ordered Chinese Skullcap for the Marek’s & Doxy-Tyl for the MS. Is it safe for these to be used together? Is the Chinese Skullcap something we will have to give them daily for the remainder of their lives? Can you recommend a treatment plan? Any advice is welcomed & greatly appreciated.

Agribusiness Insider channel on YouTube has great organic natural remedies regarding everything raising chickens.
So hoping the rest of your flock stays well❤️

Mycoplasma synovitis is very hard to treat with antibiotics. It is a lifelong/chronic disease and birds who have been exposed will become carriers for life. My advice would be to close the flock to any birds coming in or going out, until all birds eventually are gone. You may only see a few who have symptoms. The disease dies within a few days when birds are all gone. Here is some reading about MS:

Mareks is incurable. Most people again close their flocks, and if they want more birds, they tend to breed the ones who seem to have some immunity to it. Mareks is spread in feather dust and dander, and remains in the environment for months to years. Here is some reading:
