I took lots of pics but won't bombard you all at once! I figure I would post a few at a time..Thanks in advance!!
Oh also I should say, like an idiot I have lost track and mixed up a few of my FCM and Olive Eggers I hatched 3 FCM and 5 OE's and they are all black with some yellow/ white here and there..I am having a hard time figuring out who's who except for the black chicks with the fluffy cheeks/pea combs..

Right, My problem with that is that out of the 3 FCM and 5 OE's (8 black chicks) 5 have the feathered legs UGH.. So I guess that 2 of the OE's picked that up from their FCM side? The breeder bred Ameracaunas with the FCM's I tried to rule them out with the feathered legs..And also, couldn't the OE's have picked up a straight comb or pea comb? confusing me even more..I really should have marked them as they hatched.

Anything I breed here with my FBCM roo has feathered shanks.

By the time they start feathering out, you should be able to tell.

Might be a week or two. With most of mine I have them crossed with a OE hen a EE hen and some of my Game hens. They all look like FBCMs until a couple of weeks old.

I've started dabbing them with yellow polish as they hatch to be able to identify. Top of the head for the Game crosses and on the back of the EE anf OE. There are usually some brownish markings at week 2 and I can pick them right out.

Thanks! I hatched 4 they are a nice color.. a bit stand offish, but I love em! I have 3 that are similar and 1 is different..I am hoping that 1 is a little boy.. The 1 has a pinker comb and thicker legs..the 3 are paler combs, thinner legs. I will cross my fingers for you!!

I did notice the one has a shorter tail than the other three....It's got to be a boy? Which I would be happy to have three girls!
