Hello Everyone,
I am new here as you can tell. This is my first hatching and I have some questions.
First we are dealing with 10 golden/silver Polish eggs.

They were candled on the 18th day and put into the incubator to hatch today. 1 hatched, but it is banging into all of the other eggs. I am nervous that its doing damage to the other eggs.

What should I do and also is it normal to have no "chips" in the other eggs on this 21st day?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Samantha

My 1st hatch I didn't get any chicks on the 21st day, then day 22 four of the 7 hatched, day 23 the rest hatched, so sit tight, you may have more hatch overnight. :)

Also meant to say, the rest of the eggs should be ok, I wouldn't think the chick could do much damage to the other eggs...

Thank you so much for your super fast reply!

So is it safe to have this one bumping the eggs everywhere? I am just concerned because they are scattered everywhere. I dont want anything to happen to the little guys.

Ok thanks!!!

I appreciate the help so much! I have been a nervous wreck all day.

We have ringneck pheasants to go in next, which should be very exciting!

It's ok for the eggs to be kicked around like footballs. It's never caused any issues with my own eggs. If anything it wakes them up!

It's okay. Wait about two more days. The other eggs will be fine.
