Help with my Japanese roo

Paco, my Japanese rooster, about a year old. He's been staggering and losing his balance. He looks fine, no runny eyes or breathing problem, he just can't seem to navigate real well.
Disease of some sort? He has no visible injuries.
Opinions please? I really hate to lose this little guy.
We feed a mix of scratch, cracked corn and grower.
They have fresh water always available.
All the chickens free range, so they get bugs and whatever else is out there.
So far, none of my other chickens seem to have any problems.

how old is he? Neurological symptoms often indicate a toxin of some sort (feed/ water? Has he had access to a salty food/treat?)
