Help with nervous, high strung rooster

Agree! Mine have crowing contests among themselves too. Saturday I sent nine cockerels and a rooster to the local auction, and the remaining cockerels and roosters (five total) are much quieter.

How old is your second male?

They are both one year old. They were raised together. The Easter Egger is the dominant rooster, and all the girls ignore the other one.
I'm sure the other boy is not helping the situation, but I don't think he's causing it. They get along great, and the other boy never challenges the EEs position.
(I am also going to separate them soon, and each boy will have his own flock.)
This problem only started when the other people's rooster started crowing. That was about 2-3 weeks ago.
