Elie And Her Flock
Songster
Honestly it sounds like you're doing a great job. Not much more that you can do for her other than providing a dry and warm environment. Best of luck, and keep us updated!!

She seems a little bit stronger. Eating and drinking pretty good. She can’t stand or walk still. She will try to move which makes me somewhat hopeful. We are still hand watering and feeding. We give her food and water every three hours. Which reminds me of having an infant when I get up at midnight, 3 am, and 6am. Any suggestions on how to help her legs get stronger. We hold her up with our hands and let her stand there a number of times a day in hopes that may be a little physical therapy. She will try to lunge at times to move and then it’s over on her side laying down again. She also likes to flap her wings in an effort to move at times. I do think the vitamins have helped as she seems stronger but I am still very worried about these weak legs. I am so appreciative of all the support and ideas on how to help her. Please share your thoughts. How is she doing..?
I dont know much about stargazing but one things for sure chickens are buoyant and can be taught to swim pretty easilyWell, I know chickens don't swim, but does anyone think its possible to mabey help her, don't they do that with over weight dogs, help them move their legs in water to build up leg strength. It may help her.
