Help with Orono, Minneosta Chicken Laws!

I really want to get chickens, but I can not find any info on our city's chicken laws! And if I can't have at least three, how can I change this? I have read the Orono Minnesota code of law, and Calle ft he law office. Each have me no info! Help!

Has anyone learned more about backyard chickens in Orono, MN? I found this but am not sure what it means if you only have 3-5 chickens since one "animal unit" is 25 chickens.

Wow, this thread was started a while back. Did you happen to find out anything since you made this thread? I would have suggested finding the website for the city ordinances if they don't list specific rules or the rules are confusing I'd definitely message or call them.

So glad there's no such thing as zoning or ordinances up here where I am..hope it all works out..I have 12 5 wk olds wish I only got there at this point lol
