FOOD: what are you having?

Got a Römertopf clay roaster finally! Made a simple yeast dough and cold fermented it for 48 hours. Soaked the roaster lid for 30 min and while I proofed once more and baked! Smells delicious. Letting it cool
Is that stainless steel baking sheet I see? 👀

Here's the bread lame and the sourdough bread.
First picture is of the bread I forgot to slit.

With the Lame, I'm now very careful when using it. I was distracted once and silt my whole figure. That was a pain! 😬

Oh my goodness! Its beautiful!! What brand of rye do you recommend?? I am saving up for a cast iron traditional hand crank wheat mill! (This will be a summer purchase!) I have some local hard white wheat berries and would like to start slowly just milling my own flour when the need for baking arises. Fun fact!! Wheat berries have a shelf life of 25-30 years (in optimal conditions ofc, I had no idea!) Fresh milled flour though isn't shelf stable for more than week.

Same! I have those ones too that's why I recognized them😄
I got a beautiful five ply stainless steel 12 inch fry pan for wayyy under the price of the big names. Testing out. Its definitely a curve. But it falls off quickly! Haven't dared trying eggs yet 😂 otherwise my good ol ceramic nonstick pans will do!

I get it from Azure Standard. https://www.azurestandard.com/shop/...rye-flour-unifine-organic/10543?package=FL078

That bag lasts a long time since I only use a little bit when making sourdough😁

Finished both sourdoughs! Made them yesterday, cooked them today! 😋
