Help with our Dominque Birdzilla

I agree he is a barred-rock cross, but I vote rooster on this one. Check out my BR rooster and 2 dominique hens.

Droppy tail feathers don't 100% mean roo unless they are pointed, my blue orp/dominique cross had similar feathers at 3 months, though not quite as long as your birds. And attitude, well my two barred rock pullets square off with my roo and anyone else they feel like bullying on a regular basis. But that comb being so big and red at this age says roo to me. See below pics for comparison, the first pic is one of my BR pullets (hatchery) at 3 mo, 2nd pic is at 5 months/POL (you can see the orp/dom cross behind her). Her comb is a little larger and redder now, her sisters is so big it flops over.
