Trying to figure out the gender of our 2 Pekin ducks. They are 9 weeks old in the picture. We think 1 of them possibly could be a drake. Frito in the back of the pic is slightly larger, has a quiet quack. Dorito ( in the front ) is VERY loud 
Dorito also has a rounder head and squintier eyes. The weird thing is, both of their bills are the same color orange. We had two Pekin in the past, there was a noticeable difference in the coloration of the bill between the male and female.
Another question, I heard that you need at least 8
females per male or else the male will injure the lone female
Hopefully this is not the case. Guess I should have done my research beforehand.
