Help with possible capillary worms

WHen I saw signs of coccidiosis I put them on antibiotics and corid for 10 days then followed up a couple weeks later with another 7 days of corid.

What type of antibiotic are you using?
Just so I understand correctly I'm a little confused by your post- you have given the Corid 2X and are now on your 3X giving it?

Tell us more about what you're feeding - any other foods and are you adding any type of supplements to their water besides the Corid (in the US medicated feed has a Coccidiostat in it - though it's a small amount - this is just a preventative dose at best - usually Amprol/Amprolium (Corid) is what is used).

Tell us more about the symptoms you are seeing - I'm just trying to understand more about what's going on - photos may be helpful as well.

I wasn't sure what they had because I had gotten some chicks from a local woman (half of which died) and added them to the ones I hatched myself and I've had problems ever since... the woman gave me corid and antibiotics because she was having some sickness going around too. That was when they were 6/7 weeks old. I have definitely learned the quarantine lesson!

The chick the died the other day was all puffy with a puffy crop. The one I have separated is just lethargic. He is eating and drinking a bit but kind of just standing around in the crate...

I'm not using any antibiotics now. I was speaking of back when they were 6/7 weeks old. Right now I have just one that is sickly. And he is just on corid water and medicated feed inside the house in a crate. I have been watching them closely after the one died the other day and he is the only one who was not acting like himself...

You may have just got some really sick chicks from that lady.
One should not be handing out antibiotics when they sell chicks...that is really strange.

I would probably stop using Corid at the point, I highly doubt he could have Coccidiosis with all the treatments given so far and start offering daily vitamins.
Nutri Drench can be given straight to the beak.

Ok thanks! Do you think I should still use the safe guard in case it's some kind of worms? Have you ever seen a chick start looking puffy? It's like the feathers are puffed out.

I do not think you should use any more medicines on him right now.
I would advise to have poop tested by a vet before giving him worm medicine.

Can you post a picture of him?
