help with PVC chicken run

Go into goodwill or the salvation army store and just ask they will load you up. Or if you know anyone who uses a uniform service for their work clothing ask them, those places only use wire hangers.:)
love this idea now I only need to find wire hangers, ugh lol, I will go to second hand stores also and maybe put something out there on craigs list? This is sounds doable for an old grandma, thanks!!

Yard/garden staples are somewhere around $7 for a box of 50.

Once your skirt is stapled to the ground the grass (if you have any) will grow up through it. I did find myself tripping on the edges of my skirt when I'd go out to the run before I'd stapled it in place. You can shovel some dirt on top of the skirt if nothing grows there if you don't want it to be visible.
THANK YOU!!

Thank-you! Love your Quote!!

This sounds like a real good secure idea, is there any way you could send me a picture?

I'd have to take one. You can't really see the hardware cloth anymore--grass grew over it

If you zoom in you might be able to see it where I killed the grass for the electric fence. I put it under the pvc and bolted it on the inside of the run. Then I actually connected and bolted the bottom parts of the hardware cloth on the run to that apron

Ok so tell me guys ,
Why pvc instead of wood ? Easier to work with ? I know pvc is a bugger to cut , we tried to make a feeder once

I like the hangers because I reduce, reuse , recycle , just buying is so easy , I’m almost 50, married 30 years and I’ve never taken a plastic grocery bag , ever !

We should all be concerned about the amount of garbage... ok I’m done

PVC was supposed to be cheaper and easier for me to work with than wood, I have no tools needed except hammer, so was cheaper to buy cutter for PVC and I believe it was easier although im seeing some downfalls now but all in all I feel was right choice for me. hoping in future to be able to build bigger out of wood!!
I always take my bags and reuse them, also have concern about environment among many other things!!
