Help with Quail eggs

@PhelanChick that is good you went into lockdown. What you may want to do is get your phones flashlight and shine it up against the glass of the incubator and move it around to each egg and check for pips that way. That is what I do. It really sometimes is the only way to see a pip on a quail egg. Also, they look more like valley quail eggs than gambels. (PS: they should hatch within the next 2 days if you see them moving and rolling around)

You are right- I actually just posted that they are California valley quail
 
We did it!!!! 16 baby quail this morning!! What an amazing surprise!!! 100 % hatch!!!! 1 chicken so far.

Oh my... that's some serious skill to get 100% from wild eggs that were already being incubated that you knew nothing about at start, I'm impressed. Just adorable too! I have some valley quail set to hatch in about 8 days too.

Thank you! So excited I was able to save them! Now to keep them going until release - fingers crossed!!
